The school year has come to a close, which is the time we like to give a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers who helped to ensure that the year was a great one.
We have the best volunteers out there! No matter the day, activity, or task, they are always ready and so happy to offer their help in service of the children in programs. Their combined 3,000 hours of service translates to $100,000 toward our mission and allows our coaches to focus their time on helping our students achieve success both inside and outside of the classroom.
Here’s a sample of the incredible work they do in support of BFF:
- Collecting, organizing, and setting up our amazing auction items for the BFF Bash
- Transforming BFF Headquarters into Santa’s workshop to wrap holiday gifts for our students
- Preparing end of year gifts for the teachers at all our schools
- Filling new backpacks with school supplies so our students start the year with everything they need
The list truly goes on and on! To all our volunteers, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your time is so valuable, and we appreciate you spending 3,000 hours with us this last year.
