Danielle Rosse
Rosse was just 22 when she first opened Oceans 234 in 2003. Starting as Director of Operations, she transformed what was once a sleepy oceanfront diner into the alluring waterfront dining escape that Oceans 234 is recognized as today. In 2013, she purchased the restaurant to become the sole owner and, in 2015, undertook a $2 million renovation to elevate the guest experience and redefine oceanfront dining in Deerfield Beach.
In 2007, Rosse launched The Whale Raw Bar, a neighborhood New England–style raw bar in Parkland, which she successfully operated for six years before selling in 2013.
In 2025, Rosse expanded her Deerfield Beach footprint with the opening of The Break House Kitchen & Beach Bar, a bold, oceanfront all-day café and rooftop concept located next door to Oceans 234. Designed as a lifestyle destination “for locals, by locals,” The Break House combines a relaxed coastal vibe with innovative hospitality—offering counter service by day, rooftop cocktails by night, and a brand experience built around community, creativity, and connection.
Rosse has a passion for the multi-faceted nature of restaurant ownership and believes that Oceans 234 and The Break House together represent the total hospitality experience—delivering fresh food, fun energy, and unparalleled ocean views while reviving the Florida tradition of breezy, beachside living.
A respected restaurateur and community leader, Rosse has dedicated her career to both her industry and her community. She served two years as the Broward Chapter President for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA), sits on the State Board of Directors for FRLA, the Deerfield Beach Economic Development Council, and the George Snow Scholarship Fund.
Her work has been recognized by numerous organizations, earning her distinctions including:

Rosse and the Oceans 234 and Break House teams continue to utilize their professional platforms to support dozens of nonprofit and community organizations each year, reflecting her belief that great restaurants don’t just serve meals—they serve their communities.
