Dr. Tara and Tony Ruberg
Tara and Tony Ruberg are proud supporters of Best Foot Forward, inspired by a shared belief in service, advocacy, and the power of community. Tony’s commitment is deeply personal, shaped by watching his parents foster more than 45 children over 12 years, which instilled in him a lifelong appreciation for the impact of stability, empowerment, and opportunity. After moving to Boca Raton, Tony and Tara were drawn to Best Foot Forward’s work supporting children and families.
Tony is a Partner and Senior Managing Director at VIUM Capital, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in finance and banking to organizations serving vulnerable populations in healthcare and senior living. He previously led the Seniors Housing and Healthcare team at Arbor Realty Trust and advised owners, operators, and sponsors at Lancaster Pollard. Tony earned a degree in economics from Capital University, and later earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from The Ohio State University. He is the reigning Festival Days Battle of the Bartenders champion, having finally taken down Dan Davidowitz in 2025 after years of chasing the title.
Dr. Tara Ruberg is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with a passion for women’s health and advocacy. She earned degrees from Vanderbilt University and Rush Medical College, founded a nonprofit focused on providing preventive health screenings and education for uninsured women, completed her residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and practiced in Philadelphia before relocating to Boca Raton. A certified menopause practitioner, she specializes in contraception counseling, infertility, peri- and postmenopausal care, and minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery.
Tony and Tara reside in Boca Raton with their children, Anthony and Olivia, and are active parishioners of St. Joan of Arc. Together, the Ruberg family is honored to support organizations like Best Foot Forward that create lasting community impact.
