Sole Mates Luncheon 2025

Sole Mates Luncheon 2025 150 150 Best Foot Forward Foundation

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 7th Annual Sole Mates Luncheon at Boca West Country Club! Nearly 400 guests came together for an incredible afternoon of inspiration and generosity, helping us raise over $482,000 to fund essential resources that empower our students beyond the classroom.

Thank you so much to our sponsors and the Sole Mates committee for making this event such a success. Your support means the world to us. We were honored to recognize this year’s Anchor Award recipients: Lorraine Cross, Anita Detert, Anita Kreilein, and Laura McCutcheon.

A highlight of the afternoon was hearing from our guest speaker Daunte Culpepper, former NFL quarterback, presented by LVL Up Fitness. His story of resilience and perseverance reminded us all of the power of a supportive community. We were equally inspired by our student speaker, Kathrell, who shared her heartfelt journey and the role BFF has played in her success and beyond.

Together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of our students. See more photos at the link here 📸

Anchor Award Recipients

We are honored to recognize this year’s Anchor Award recipients:

Anita Detert, Anita Kreilein, Laura McCutcheon, and BFF Board Member Lorraine Cross.

These visionary women dreamed up the Sole Mates Luncheon and transformed it into the meaningful tradition it is today. Together, they also recognized the growing need for student essentials and responded by founding the Sole Mates fundraiser, which ensures BFF students have access to critical resources that support their success.

Their leadership and generosity truly embody the spirit of the Anchor Award, and we are deeply grateful for the lasting difference they continue to make in the lives of our youth.

Support Foster Care and At-Risk Youth.

Your Help Makes a Difference!

Foster care or at-risk children face unimaginable challenges, but with your support, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

While our one-on-one educational support is crucial, these children also benefit from additional essentials that are often overlooked. From birthday celebrations and field trip funding to senior year activities, groceries, and college summer housing, these vital needs help shape their future success.

To truly assist our students in putting their “best foot forward” and becoming successful, independent, and contributing members of our community, we need your help.

All proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting our mission to provide vital resources and help our students thrive.

Thank you for your continued support!
