Our high school students recently had the opportunity to visit the Palm Beach State College Boca Raton campus for a day of exploration, learning, and inspiration.
Welcomed by BFF Board Member Dr. Van P. Williams, Provost and Dean of Student Services, and guided by current PBSC student Nelson Prieto Romero, our group toured the campus and discovered the many academic programs, student resources, and opportunities available to future college students.
One moment stood out above all the rest. A student looked around campus and quietly asked, “So this is what a college campus looks like?” It was a powerful reminder that for many of our students, experiences like this open doors to possibilities they have never imagined.
By introducing students to college campuses before they graduate, we’re helping them dream bigger, build confidence, and see higher education as an achievable next step.
