Fran Nachlas

Battle of the Bartenders 2026
Fran Nachlas is a lifelong community advocate and longtime Boca Raton resident who believes in the power of service, collaboration, and giving back. A graduate of Atlantic Community High School and the University of Florida College of Nursing, Fran spent nearly 30 years as a surgical nurse in Boca Raton and continues to hold her nursing license today, along with her real estate license.
Her passion for helping others has led her to serve in numerous community roles, including as a City of Boca Raton Councilmember and Deputy Mayor, Board Trustee for the George Snow Scholarship Fund, and founder of a nonprofit focused on skin cancer prevention. Fran and her husband, Nathan, were honored with the Rotary Club of Boca Raton’s OPAL Award, and she has been recognized for her commitment to education and volunteerism throughout the community.
Beyond community service, some fun facts are that Fran is a three-time Ironman Triathlete, seven-time Boston Marathon runner, and former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader! Most of all, she loves spending time with Nathan, their two dogs, four children, their spouses, and four beautiful grandchildren.
Fran lives by the words of Katherine Graham: “To love what you do and feel that it matters, how could anything be more fun?”
