David Eddinger

Battle of the Bartenders 2026

Raised in Boca Raton and proud to have called it home his entire life, David Eddinger has deep roots in the community he serves. A graduate of Boca Raton High School, David continued his education and baseball career at Florida Atlantic University before transferring to Radford University on a baseball scholarship, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies. 

David has spent over 21 years serving the City of Boca Raton as a firefighter and currently holds the rank of Assistant Chief of Operations. His dedication to public service mirrors his commitment to supporting at-risk and foster care youth through the Best Foot Forward Foundation. 

When he is not at not the fire department, David can usually be found cheering on his 16-year-old son, Jackson, at baseball games or playing pickleball with his wife, Missy. At Battle of the Bartenders 2026, he is honored to raise funds for a cause close to his heart, helping create brighter futures for local youth, one tip at a time.
