Alana St. John

Battle of the Bartenders 2026
Alana St. John is the Director of Advancement and Community Partnerships at Spirit of Giving, a Palm Beach County nonprofit that connects and strengthens a network of more than 130 member organizations through professional development, resource sharing, and cross-sector collaboration. In this role, she leads fundraising, donor stewardship, and community partnership efforts. Alana considers herself the ultimate connector, and there’s nothing she enjoys more than bringing people together.
Alana brings more than a decade of progressive nonprofit fundraising and leadership experience to her work. She began her career as a Development Associate at the Fuller Center and went on to hold roles at Children’s Home Society and Friends of Foster Children before joining Spirit of Giving as its Volunteer Program Manager, working her way up to Director of Programs over six years. She most recently spent two years as Director of Development at Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, where she deepened her expertise in donor stewardship and cross-departmental collaboration. She has since returned to Spirit of Giving to continue building on the organization’s mission, now with a broader, more strategic focus on advancement and partnerships.
A Palm Beach County native and Florida Atlantic University alumna, Alana is currently pursuing her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is active in the community through the Junior League of Boca Raton, Impact 100 PBC, the FAU Alumni Association, and the Boca Regional Chamber’s PULSE Young Professionals Committee. Personally, she enjoys traveling with her family, attending events, hot Pilates, and spending time outdoors with her Rottweiler, Henry.
