No matter how hard students prepare for that big test or final paper, not having the right school supplies could hinder their success. Unlike kids living in adverse environments and financial need, children with the means to purchase new school supplies are already one step ahead.
BFF takes a stand to ensure students in foster care are equally prepared, but here’s the thing about school supplies — they only last for so long. No. 2 pencils break. Pens run out of ink. And, if you ask any BFF high schooler they’ll tell you, with an increasing class load and set of responsibilities, the more flash cards and binders the better!
From crisp notebooks to pink rubbery erasers, every item serves a purpose, but some more than others. So, which school supplies are most frequently used by BFF students? We rounded up the following list:
– Binders (1.5” & 2”)
– Dividers
– Multiple subject notebooks (college ruled)
– Highlighters
– Mechanical pencils (.09mm)
– Pens
– Post-it notes
The list of supplies from elementary school through college may change, but the need will always remain. A colorful pack of crayons means the world to a BFF kindergartner much like how a set of binders helps a BFF college kid stay organized. We make it our mission to provide these tools for success, and it’s all possible thanks to the help of our community.
BFF school supplies are always in demand! If you’re interested in learning more about how to donate, please call 561-470-8300 or to make an online donation, go to https://bestfoot.org/donations/ Successful students are prepared students!
