Judith Finkel

Anchor Award Recipient
Judith Finkel, 81, is a remarkable example of strength, resilience, and unconditional love. When her daughter, became seriously ill and could no longer care for her children, Judith stepped forward without hesitation, taking full custody of five of her grandchildren during some of the most important and vulnerable years of their lives.
Judith did far more than provide a home, she fought for their futures. She became their strongest advocate, ensuring they had access to the resources, stability, education, and opportunities they needed to succeed. She connected her family with Best Foot Forward, creating an additional support system that helped her grandchildren navigate their education and prepare for their futures.
Her advocacy did not end there. Judith later stepped forward for her grandson, Adam, supporting and encouraging him as he pursued his own educational goals. Today, as a grandmother and great-grandmother, Judith remains a powerful force within her family. She continues to show up, speak up, and advocate for the generations that follow her.
Judith’s greatest legacy can be seen in the lives she has helped shape and the opportunities made possible because she refused to allow difficult circumstances to determine her grandchildren’s futures.
