2026 Sole Mates Luncheon
Student Speaker

Cassandra Navarro is a former Best Foot Forward student who, as a teenager facing circumstances beyond her control, experienced firsthand what can happen when a young person is surrounded by people who refuse to let those obstacles define their future.

With the unwavering advocacy of her family and the support of Best Foot Forward, Cassandra continued her education and transformed those opportunities into a future she could build upon. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Florida Atlantic University and later a master’s degree in Human Resources from Florida International University.

Today, Cassandra is a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in Human Resources at The Boca Raton, where she has built a career centered around people, opportunity, and helping others take the next step in their own professional journeys. She is also a wife and mother, carrying forward the lessons of strength, perseverance, and advocacy that shaped her own life.

Cassandra’s journey represents the lasting impact that can be created when a young person is given not only mentorship and educational guidance, but also the everyday essentials, resources, and support needed to keep moving forward. She is honored to return to Best Foot Forward as an alumna and share what that support can make possible.
