BFF and St. Thomas Law School has partnered for a ground-breaking opportunity for youth in foster care. St. Thomas has created the Best Foot Forward Scholarship to provide an option never before offered to foster care youth. Scholarships will be given to those showing promise and determination to overcome their traumatic backgrounds, break all the anticipated outcomes, and attend law school.
The first recipient is a student graduating this December. Chris Varca grew up in foster care and is an outstanding role model for what foster care youth can achieve, with a little help!
